my calling

I’m called…called to use the gifts and talents that God has given me to advance the Kingdom of God here on Earth.  Currently, I’m using those gifts and talents at the OKC campus of LifeChurch.tv.  My title is Administrative Assistant, but that doesn’t really explain what I do.  Anything that has to do with the communication between our various ministries and the people we serve, lands in my lap…everything from the bulletin, all the way down to the bathroom advertising.    I’m also the receptionist, responsible for the weekly offering count, input of communication cards, and, oh yeah, I do the laundry.   God has equipped me to do these things and I give him all of the credit and all of the glory for every thing I do well, as well as the things I suck at.  It’s not just a job, it’s a calling.

    Sounds wonderful Cari! How nice it is to know this about you after all of these years. I am so glad the Lord is using you in such an obvious way. I look forward to reading your blog and catching up on what you are up to. My blog tends to highlight my silliness but I can get serious occasionally too. It is certainly a nice outlet though isn’t it? :)
