I love spring and summer in Oklahoma. The warmer temps, thunderstorms, rainy days. Unfortunately, it doesn’t love me back–at least it doesn’t love my hair back. I know, me and at least 75% of the population. Enjoy.

Town Hall for Hope
I’m an American, and I am choosing NOT to participate in this recession. Who loves Dave Ramsey?! I love that this guy tells it like it is. He’s not afraid to call stupid, stupid! He’s good pals with my buddy, Tough Love. If you’ve ever listened to him speak, you can tell that he’s MAD. [...]

It’s AntiProcrastination Day!
Thanks to the Flylady—you can do anything for 15 minutes!– and Aranda—rockin’ tunes–, I pushed through and got several things done that have been calling my name for a while. I think I’m in a slump today. I currently have several drafts on my blog dashboard…things I ‘ve started, had ideas for, then didn’t finish for one reason or another. Posts about resolutions, expectations, my sweet sister, and some Old Testament dude named Jehosaphat–cleverly titled “Jumpin’ Jehosaphat”–I know! How clever am I!? Currently you’ll find [...]

Oklahoma is MORE than OK!
Spring Break took us on a whirlwind tour of northwest Oklahoma–but certainly not in a rushed feeling way! My favorite type of road trip is one where you see more road kill than cars on the road, so making our way from the “big city” up to the northwest part of the state was a [...]

More about Grace
Despite my last post about being overwhelmed by grace, I don’t think I really get it yet. I’ve been thinking about how many times I DON”T give grace. If I truly understood AND lived in the reality of God’s grace, then I would offer it much more freely and much more frequently. I know this [...]
